why do some people spend upwards of 100.00 for a bottle of wine?  I have either no taste in  quality wine, or am too cheap to spend that much.  Although im fairly new to the wine community (2 years), I would like some body to stand up and explain the "worth" behind spending soooo much for one little bottle of wine....

 I think it's a status thing. I'm no wine expert, but I've had pricey wine and $12 wines. I'll personally stick to the $12 wines any day. All looks the same in the glass and has the same effect the next morning.
